Those who made their own monogram cake topper.............
I'm throwing around the idea of making my own too, now that I'm done with college and actually have some free time. I really like the ones by craftyeddy (the vendor most brides buy theirs from), but have a few questions for those of you that have bought them and made them:
1- For a 3-4 tiered cake, how big of a letter did you get?
2- I know they come in wood..........did you only buy crystals to glue on?
3- What kind of glue did you get for the crystals and did you get this all at AC Moore/Michaels?
4- How long did it take you to stick those stones on? Hours??? lol I'm still debating if this DIY is worthwhile.
Thanks!

1- cant really remember the size... 4-6 inches something around there
2- yes i did from artbeads.com
3- just used regular tacky glue
4- like 2 hrs? it didnt feel like long at all. use varying sizes of rhinestones so at least the big ones take up alot of space.
All in all it was worth it....Cost me less than $15
