Check your registries, they just upped their prices!
Our place settings went from $119 to $125. Not a big jump, but I was uncomfortable with it being at $119 to begin with. My friend's china went up too, so I think it was an overall price hike.

Ugh that stinks! I feel bad too with 108. But BB&B will let people use the 20% coupons even though the bottom says no fine china, etc. I will check BB&B now. Thanks
ETA: Just checked. Mine are the same price. You may want to check other stores to see how much they are charging for the same set.

that happened to me with the Kitchen Aid mixer. When I put it on my registry it was $250 (already insane) and then it went up to $270... can't believe I actually got it!

I did check the Waterford site and they did up it to $125, so it's definitely something that the manufacturer did, not the stores. Maybe they didn't do it to all patterns, it's just annoying. BB&B doesn't carry my pattern, otherwise I would have put it on there instead of Fortunoff. I know that BB&B didn't change my friend's china price yet, did you go the Waterford site and check their listed price?

The Waterford prices are still the same at Michael C. Fina.
That's very interesting. Not only didn't the prices go up, but they have a six piece place setting for my china in addition to the 5 piece, AND it's the same price!!

That's weird, it's listed under mine too, but when you click it, the same listing of items pop up. Strange.

this is the time of year when vendors raise there prices so you might actually see the increase on other things as well, I just realized that my flatware went up in price as well as my place setting which went up a few weeks ago..I guess it is just something we have to accept.

that is how michael c fina gives you the free soup, they never change their web prices so you can always use their website and bring a printout to BBB or Fortunoffs and have them meet the price that is what I did with a lenox place setting last week that I bought for my friend and fortunoff met the old price and the free soup!!
