I have been sick for three weeks. As I sit here now I feel like someone has my head in a vice. My body aches, I have massive pain in my ears, and my chest feels tight. Bloodwork is fine, chest x-ray is fine, and first batch of antibiotics didn't work. Now i'm on penicillan. The only time my head dosen't hurt is when i'm lying down. I am easily exhausted.
Does anyone who has allergies suffer from symptoms like this? In the past 3 weeks i've worked a total of 5 days. (not in a row)

have you tried any allergy medication at all??? that may be the problem. My friend is allergic to EVERYTHING and those symptoms sound like some of the ones she gets.........hmmmmmmm, worth a try, right?

Oh Im so sorry to hear that you are feeling this bad. I knew you were sick, but not this sick . I dont suffer any allergies like the ones that you are discribing, so I cant even relate. But I will give you a bunch of hugs and wish you feel better soon

I know how you feel and I never thought I had allergies!!! When I moved form NY to SC I would have a headache for weeks and the only time I was ok was laying down or in the shower!!!
I would take 2-4 Tylenol Allergy and Sinus...over the course of taking this regularly it started to go away after 1 full day! But you cant miss a beat! You HAVE to take it every 4-6 hours (except when youare sleeping!) Still now, since I am back in NY only whenit rains my eyes hurt, my brain feels like it is trying to get out of my head...and I take that and it goes away!

ive been down this road before....im allergice to EVERYTHING!!!...you should try activfed or sudafed pm at bed time the antihistamine in them is really good, but makes you super drowsy....also for the day time if it is allergies maybe a claratin the one that disolves instantly works very quickly, but if your sypmptoms are so bad i would say see you doctor about getting a stronger dose of allergy meds allegra-D work nicely as does zyrtec good lukc, feel better

zyrtec is a life saver for me. i just wish it wasn't so much $$$$$. Also make sure you change the filters for the heating system and dust and vaccum while wearing a mask. Finally it may not be a new allergy triggering it. I have been to 3 diff specialists because I have dermatisis under my eyes. No one can figure out whats wrong. They just say that its an allergy but I have changed nothing. Finally some otc meds have been changed so they can stay on the shelves due to the new meth guidelines. So you are better off with a rx. I hope you feel better

ok fh has allergies. i don't open the windows in my apartment during the seasons. if i do for a short time. i change my bedding if i know he is coming over. also he swears by a air purifier or whatever they are called.
Thanks for asking Peggie! I went to CVS and am on penecillian. I also bought sudafed extra strength for sinus, airborn, and my dr. also gave me singulair. So far everything is better but the pain in the right side of my head is still there. I just want to feel better enought to go to work. I hope I can on Monday.
