Thought question of the day

I thought we can possibly have a thought question daily. What do you think? About current events, politics, etc?We can have a mature debate, but def respect other peopl'es opinions

Question for today 10/16
Do you believe people of the same sex should legally married? Should they have all the same benefits as a heterosexual married couple such as taxes, health benefits, etc?

My answer
Yes. As long as 2 people love each other, why shouldnt they be allowed to get married and have the same rights as anybody else. Whatever anyone does is none of my business. And im happy when anyone finds love, straight, gay, bi, whatever

Well said! I was raised not to judge others living situations. My family has friends that are in a same sex marriage and I never thought twice about it. My parents never made a big deal. They would say this is Mr. and Mr. or Mrs. and Mrs. Jones and that would be that.

What a great idea for a thread.

I think as long as you are an adult you should be able to marry any other adult you please. There are so many horrible things in the world. To deny two people who are in love this right is disgusting in my opinion.

I absolutely agree! I was raised to treat everyone the way I would want to be treated and to accept people for who they are. If they love each other, then why not. In my opinion, it's not fair to discriminate against anyone for ANY reason. Color, religion, sexuality..........

I totally agree with your answer!!! I dont think it should matter who it is you love!

i agree in theory that this should be possible but religious issues come into play for me
