St. Charles and Mathers Hospitals?? These are the two hospitals closest to us, and we wanted to find out anything we can on them. TIA

Hmm from a nurses prospective I know that St. Charles has a great rehab facility and that Mathers hospital pays their nurses way too little. At least they did 3yrs ago when I went to an open house!

I agree that St. Charles is known for their rehab facility and I've heard its also a great place to deliver a baby. I think Mather is known for Cardiology. I've been to both to visit family, I haven't heard any complaints.

I had surgery at St. Charles 2 years ago. I was less than satisfied with the nurses in the recovery room, I was in there for 8 hours with no explaination! Once I was in my room, the nurses were super sweet!
My grandfather has been in and out of Mather for years and I don't believe has any major complaints.

Both great hospitals....they are small so you get some great attention!

my sister did a couple of weeks of recovery at st. charles and they were so awesome and sweet there. nice staff!

I'd recommend St. Charles. I delivered Cassidy there and had the greatest experience. Also, I've taken Scotty to the ER at both St Charles and Mather, and St Charles was by far superior.
