as a guest, i'd be a little peeved to go at that time. this is just me. i'd still go, but i'd be a bit antsy at the time. i think a friday night would be different b/c it would be like a girls night out and guests would still have their weekends ahead of them. but this is just my opinion. but from a guests point of view, sunday nights are my nights to prepare for the week ahead and i need that time!

I have to say, my shower was on a THURSDAY night, and it was great!!!! I think the guests were happy too, because usually a shower takes up your whole day if it's at say 12:00. JMO

I know, Sunday night is tough right? But would a Friday night be too tough on Mommy-to-be? My cuz is usually exhausted by 8:00 and can't fathom doing anything after work or in the evenings. Were you tired for your Thursday night one?

My friend's mom had hers on a Saturday night at like 5pm...my friend was out shopping, she came home and we were all in her house for her shower. After shopping all day she was not to thrilled to come home to her shower.

If it is a Saturday - I would say go for it. But a Sunday at that time is tough for the mommy to be and guests. If the mom is working full time - that would be a late night - because by the time party is over and gifts are brought home, etc. I know towards the end of my pregnancy late nights were tough....

I agree with the other girls. I would be a bit peeved if I was the guest of honor or a guest. I like to relax on a Sunday night. I would prefer Friday before Sunday.
