I'm curious what other LIW brides are doing! Will you be doing a flower and garter toss? Why or Why not?
I myself am going to forgo both since I feel it's a bit old fashioned and I'd rather have more party time!

we didnt have a garter or bo-k toss. i didnt want dh up my dress in front of 240 people...

I personally don't like the garter toss but I may do a bouquet toss, have a lot of single friends!

It's tradition. I know if we didn't do it, everyone would be looking for it. So we did the bo-k toss and garter toss but not the garter dressing- that's just weird for all parties involved.

we didnt do it bc DH didn't want to -- BOOOOOO ... i was all for it
instead we did an anniversary dance. DJ invited all of the married couples up to the dance floor and began eliminating couples based upon how many years they've been married.. in the end the longest married couple got my 'throw away' boquet

We're not doing either. We are the last of friends to get married, so there really won't be single women/men. Plus We're not garter toss/boq tossing couple.

im not a big fan of the garter toss, but both the garter & flower toss are things to definatly do at your wedding.i think you should do both it only takes about 20minutes so it wont take much time

no BO-K toss, but did do garter removal - but used bouquet & garter w/ a bottle of champagne for winners of the anniversary dance (which ended up being DH's parents)...lol

i'm definately going to be doing both! i love the idea of beng able to finally do both and being the one who gets to throw the boK and have the garter removed. i think its fun and its a tradition we would like to keep
