Thoughts on Percussionist with DJ?
I recently booked a percussionist to play with my dj. What have your experiences been with this? Does it make the wedding more fun, can you not hear each other etc? I was excited at first but now I'm not sure...

i had only one REQUIREMENT when booking the dj - there MUST be a percussionist. i've been to clubs and parties where there are percussionists and it adds a whole other element to the music and the experience!!! the bass and beats makes everyone wanna get up and DANCE!! and i LOOOOOVE to dance, so a percussionist was a requirement. i think you will love it and so will your guests!
I booked one and love the idea of having it.
Ours was GREAT! Everyone loved it, they thought it was a great addition that they had never seen before. We also had the sax player too and no one complained about sound. Except my MIL, when during the second song asked if she could have the music turned down and I said nope, not during this song!!!!! She didn't bother asking again.
Thanks, this was helpful.
i went to a wedding last night for DH's cousin and she had a DJ and percussionist...they were awesome! i wish i had asked who she used, i guess i'll ask when she gets back from her HM. it really made the music pop! it made me wish we had one at our wedding!!!!
I booked it after seeing it done by my friend at her wedding. It was such a nice touch and added a live feeling to it. Almost like a quasi-band. We are using bravosound.
