I don't think that it sound snobby or stuck up. it totally fine,and I could understand why people would do that, I want people to look nice at my wedding too.... I guessi would have done that but i dont think that I have ever been to a wedding where I saw someone that was too casual. then again what i consider casual maybe different than what others might see it as. For me casual is a button up with no tie and suit jacket)...Anyway, if I thought that people would dress not 'as nice' i would add it too but that would just confuse the OTB greeks even more so I wont risk it.. (they might all show up wiht a black tie on
)

Honey your reception is at Russos on the Bay - Anyone with half a brain will dress the part! I think eiher choice is suitable

I like the black tie optional!! Sounds better! It's your wedding and you are a classy a$$ chick!! No one will come casual!!!
