Thoughts on this hair color?

I am going to get my hair colored tomorrow - what do you think of this idea: (not the cut just the color)

I love the chunkiness, but I don't like the maroon-streaks. I would stick with more natural reddish or blonde...I love it tho...

The blonde is okay, but I definitely don't like the reddish/maroon streaks.

Your hair is so pretty naturally, I wouldn't put any highlights in at all!

Thanks Usuk - but I am soooo bored of boring brown. Im in a funk right now - you know - looking to spice up my look, my wardrobe.

I am a jewelry designer - and if I try to go around selling my jewelry looking blah - who will want to buy it from me??/

I just had something very similar done on Sat. I have had blond highlights for the past 7 years and was bored.

So I went to a new person who but in copper & blond highlights and then did a single process over my whole head. I am still getting used to it b/c its a lot darker. But so far so good.

I think it would look great on you.

I do have some layers in my hair - but I cant really go shorter - my hair is VERY thick so I need the length to weigh it down (so it wont be so poofy)

If I thought my hair could handle a cut like that I would do it in a heartbeat - but it would look terrible, and I would look 12.

I hear ya....your hair doesn't look super thick from pic...I have the same problem..a good humid day and I am like monica from friends when they went on vacation.

Hense why I am doing wispy bangs and more layers for winter only

Thats because I iron it EVERY day! I wont leave the house without it - it makes it look thinner

I wish I had REAL guts - I actually LOVE Red REd!!

I almost never blow dry my hair though - I let it dry naturally so it is less damaging.

I color now - but its one step - to just boost my color but I do it here and there - not that often.

I like the first pic you posted but i LOVE the red ones with the honey highlights...that is really hot, but probably very high maintenance

ETA: did you think of maybe just getting some highlights to frame your face & not all over? It is a good way to test it out & if you like it you can add more later.
