Before we all get worked up, let's think about what would you expect to hear from them.

I thought the same thing when I received the first bill, but when I thought about it, there really isn't anything to communicate between now and 6 weeks before.

I don't expect them to call and check in. I look it as no news is good news and it's just one less thing I have to worry about.

I dropped off my first payment in person and my BM met with me and I sat there and realized there was absolutely no point. I didn't really have any questions that weren't addressed by e-mail and I had nothing to say to her other than to remark how excited I was.

I agree with you Eva..I rather them not call me and I call them instead. I know myself, I'll just get paranoid about what this phone call will be about ...I'm happy that my BM is helpful if needed..so far..

does anyone else think its wierd that if your ceremony is indoors, that you don't find out the week OF your wedding which room you're getting??

The more I think about it, the more upset I get that there are no tastings!!!

Seriously, we are paying enough money to get ONE free meal. I've never even heard of CHCC before I started wedding shopping. I would really like to know what it's like.

I want to do something about this. Any suggestions??

It's been weighing on my mind for a few days now.

gibi- im having the grand ballroom for my reception but they won't tell me my ceremony room till like 10 days before the wedding, they still want to be able to book rooms... its really stinky ...

just booked my makeup lady today WOOHOOO, shes this indian lady from NJ, susmita patel.. went for a semi trial today and i really liked her..

looking to book one of these vendors within the next week

I just got off the phone with my BM - NO votive place cards :( I am soooooooo sad!!!!!!!! She said it is too risky. I should have asked first before I booked! :(

You really dont need a tasting

I too was upset b/c I wanted to at least taste my cake but in all honesty, the foor is one of the best aspects of the hall.

Everyone still raves to us how good everything was...especially the vieneese (sp) selection

We made sure to make menus to let everyone know not to fill up on the salad and entree and save room for the sundaes and zeppoles!!!

why do they have to be lit?
Cant you just given them out anyway?

I know it dissapointing but it sounds ridiculous to imply you wouldnt have booked there just based on votice placecards alone.

CH is fabulous in every other aspect....you will still have a fabulous wedding!

I saw these place cards with pressed flowers on someone elses photo album so I am thinking of maybe doing these. What do you guys think?

yes i have book the photographer and videographer, my hair and makeup , officiants,church, (since i am christian ), still have to do the limos, florist, and favors, and my gown ,....the list goes on
