I did it! It hurt like holy hell but soo worth it! The girl did an awesome job! She completely reshaped them which is why it hurt so bad. I had it done at Attias flea market actually and the girl was really really good. I looked at the eyebrows of all the women working there and they all looked awesome so I trusted her. YAY!! Never waxing again!

Like how bad on a scale from 1 to 10. I am a baby and my eyes always tear when I get my eyebrows waxed!!!

honestly, 7 ... but again she was reshaping them so she was taking out A LOT! I had let them grow in a while so I could get them perfected for the wedding

Re: Threading update....
its honestly not that bad - its basically like plucking each eyebrow out one by one instead of just pulling the strip of wax in one shot. It only hurts for that minute when they are doing it, it doesn't hurt once you are done at all!!
It is so worth it as it really gives a great shape to your eyebrows. This is more precise as it pulls each one out individually, rather than putting the way on at once.

hahah it's really not that bad but it definitely depends on who does it for you. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded since 9th grade and some people are better than others lol.

I think its HORRIBLE when you first start going. I have no pain threshold and I was in AGONY from it. But it gets less and less each time you go. I've been doing it like 2 years now and it feels as bad as waxing.

Re: Threading update....
For anyone who's interested in having anything done to their eyebrows but is worried about the pain, you can rub something like orajel or anbesol gel on your skin for a few minutes, about 10-15 minutes before you go to get waxed. Just make sure you remove it well before they do the waxing/threading so it doesn't affect what they do... but your skin will stay numb for a little while after you wipe it off so you should be more comfortable.

I didnt think it hurt either... when i went my first few times to a woman in queens... then i moved and had to try someone new and ever since, i've been gettin killed by these women... honestly, if you find a person who knows what they are doin, it doesnt hurt...
PS: went to sofia's in the attis flea market and she charged $8 and slowlyyyy ripped away at hairs under the brow... a person who knows what they are doing does not do it this way
