Three Village Inn....anyone?

Has anyone been to a wedding/had their wedding at the Three Village Inn?

I am concerned about the quality of the food and service.

Namely, lessings gets mixed reviews for their quality of food...though events at TVI are run through Mirabelle Events (still part of lessings). Mirabelle itself has great food but per usual, wedding venues don't generally serve restaurant quality food when they're feeding 150 people at once.

Any comments of food presentation, quality, and taste would be helpful as well as insight into the service during the day.

Thanks!!

Three Village Inn....anyone?

We are having our wedding at Three Village Inn in October. The food there is great. We've been to 4 showcases so we've pretty much tried everything they offer. A friend of mine got married at Coindre Hall last summer and it is also catered through Mirabelle and the food was amazing.
As for the appearance of the hall, it definitely isn't a traditional wedding hall. Its a working bed and breakfast that has been there for years. It has a whole history which is why we chose it. I agree that it doesn't look all polished and perfect but that's what we were going for. Its definitely not for everyone.

Three Village Inn....anyone?

I have actually heard all good reviews about the food at Three Village Inn. My coworker is getting married there in September and I know a few people who have been to other events there.

Three Village Inn....anyone?

the only thing I didn't like about Three Village was the ceremony space & maybe the cocktail space. Other than that it was exactly what I expected, sooo cute, kinda rustic, quaint beautiful little area with the water in the background and even the drive up. The food at TVI & Coindre Hall is different from the rest of the Lessings properties. We went to both showcases and the food was actually better at TVI for some odd reason, maybe because we were there earlier--I dunno. I think they are running specials now...but I particularly like that included with your cake is a dessert tray for every table--which is not offered at the other Lessings venues--at least not without an extra fee.

Three Village Inn....anyone?

My friend had her wedding at Three Village Inn and it was absolutely beautiful! It had a beautiful, rustic, understated ambiance. It's definitely not as over the top as most other LI venues, but I personally think that's a good thing! It's all about preference and what fits you :)
