I am in the search for venues for a Fri or Sat night in August 2012. I don't like the typical catering hall look with the covered chairs. I like more of a quaint place with character like mansions, estates, and inn's. With that being said, I look at the Three Village Inn the other day and FELL IN LOVE! I love everything from the hardwood floors, chandeliers, cottages on site, on the cocktail hour. The only think I'm concerned about is the reception room. I am going to have around 150 people possible more, and the long rectangle room concerns me. I'm used to a square or circle room that has the dance floor in the middle and the tables and chairs all around it. With this, it would be dance for in the middle and only table and chairs to the right.
Anyone have their wedding their or have been to a wedding at the Three Village Inn? I would love to know what you thought of the room shape/size, the dance floor, and how many people were at the wedding. THANK YOU!!!

Re: Three Village Inn NEED REVIEWS!
Three villiage inn is beautiful and lessings caters there, which means the food is good. I don't have anything to say about the reception room, but did want to mention that if you like the three village inn, check out the milleridge cottage. It has the same type of feel

Re: Three Village Inn NEED REVIEWS!
we went to a showcase there
and let me tell you the food was Amazing!!!!
and I actually didn't mind the room set up at all, it allows for a larger dancefloor and everyone to still have a good view of the dancefloor/dj/plasmas/etc

Went to look at the Three VIllage inn...love the feel of it, the room was too small for us though, 175pp would be too tight in the room.

I had my reception there last month. I picked it for the same reasons you are considering it and the fact that they (hands down) have the best food you will ever have at a wedding. Nothing about the place is 'wedding factory' like most places on the island. I'll send you an FM.
