Re: THRILLED RACHEL

LOL! You might want to ask Niecey and mv1003 since they were the ones who gave it to me!!!!

My formal water goblets from Lenox came in a box (I think mv1003 did the wrapping) where they were held in place by cardboard...alternating upside down and right side up (hope this makes sense). mv1003 pulled them out, stuffed them with the panties that Niecey had bought, then carefully replaced them in the box and then wrapped the box. DOes this make sense? At least I think that's how it was done....Michelle and Denise help!

Re: THRILLED RACHEL

Hey T-
No, they weren't in a basket, the glasses wouldn't stay up and we didn't want them to break.
They came in a box that held 4 glasses. We just took them out and stuck the panties in them and put them back in the box. It's a pleasant extra surprise when the bride to be opens up glasses and there are some sexy thongs in them.
Good luck!

Re: THRILLED RACHEL

T - meeting might be a plan - except I told my GF that I'd meet her for a quick drink up here and then head down to the GTG - I haven't seen her in a month!

Re: THRILLED RACHEL

Ok since mv interruppted first....I will jump in too!

I am seeing this basket come together. What if you used bubble wrap or something to hold the glasses up in the basket and then covered the wrap with some pretty material to hide the bubble wrap. Put the thongs in each glass and maybe a bottle of wine, maybe some other sexy stuff (think something chocolate-y). Then wrap the whole basket in clear cellophane and handle with care! You can actually bring the boxes for the crystal/glasses so they can carried home more carefully...hmmmm...maybe that would work! Sorry I didn't think of it sooner, Rach! LOL

Probably need a large deep basket!

Re: THRILLED RACHEL

I'm butting in becuase I got a basket full of glasses at my shower, along with an ice bucket and some fancy napkins. My cousin bought a pretty big, fairly deep basket and a bunch of shredded paper that looked like the grass in easter baskets, but it was paper instead. The shredded paper, along with the depth of the basket held all of the glasses in place. She covered the basket with cellophane and tied a bow on the top to keep the cellophane in place. It was cool. I had never seem anything like it before. She also sort of angled the glasses so they weren't standing straight up.
