Hey ladies, I was watching on TV the couple that posted their dance on youtube. Apparently, they had their BP practice the Thriller dance, that was copied from 13 going on 30. All members of the BP danced it for the wedding. This is a new sensation so much that every couple is now planning this. What do you guys think? I was thinking of doing a BP dance but it takes too much to coordinate, especially w/ too many ppl from out of state/country! Any one else doing this?

Re: Thriller dance
I'm not thinking of doing this, but I did see the youtube videos and it's pretty funny! I think it's a cool way to shock your guests and do something different!

Re: Thriller dance
There's not enough booze in the state to get my BP to learn a dance routine.

Re: Thriller dance
I said something in jest one day and my MOH mentioned it to another BM. My other BM flipped out saying how weddings are suppose to be classy and that is not classy and that if I asked her to do something like that I would be making her into my puppet and she did not sign up for that job. Give me a break . . . it looked like a fun idea and I never even mentioned it to her that we would be doing it. Someone needs to lighten up.

Re: Thriller dance
I think it would be really fun to do, a few of my bridemaids and I have talked about learning it from that movie also. We just might do it after all. I'm always up for something a little different!!

Re: Thriller dance
I just watched it on you tube and was laughing my *** off!!!
I think it would be fun to do but I don't have the nerve to do it and I don't think my BP would go for it!!!

Re: Thriller dance
It reminds me of something- about a week or two ago I taught my students this really simple dance to 'Ready 4 This' By 2 Unlimited, which is the dancey song the Yanks take the field to. I told my kids that we're gonna play it at my wedding. And then one of the girls asked 'Is everyone gonna do this dance?' Then I told the kids I should have them all come and do the dance FOR us!
I can't see my BP being into this- well mabye my sisters and their kids...but definitely not the best men!
