We are not sure if we want to do this custom because we are in our early 30's and not many of our friends are single. And the ones that are, we are afraid they will be embarassed. We were thinking, either not do the garter and bouquet toss or ask all the women single or not as well as all the guys single or not to get out on the floor for this tradition. Opinions???

I am doing both the garter and bouquet. I will be having alot of single young people at our wedding. It is traditional and fun in my opinion.

We are not doing it either, for the same reasons. We are both in our early 30s and there may be 2 or 3 single women there. So we will also be doing the anniversary dance. Always a big hit...

Didnt do the garter Tossed the bouguet from the church steps to my about to be engaged BM - who missed it (I am a bad shot) my very athletic 12yo cousin caught it and was thrilled!
