Thursday, 7/14 QOTD

Happy almost-Friday girls!!!

I’m glad I got to meet some more of the ’12 girls last night-it was fun!!

Today’s QOTD is about PDA- kind of a 2 part question….

How do you feel about PDA? do you & FH tend to be lovey dovey in public or are you more private with that kind of stuff? Second part-have you & FH thought/talked about how you’ll kiss for the ‘you may kiss the bride’, will it be a big one, or just a simple quick kiss?

FH & I are kind of in the middle with PDA- we always give random hugs & quick kisses but that’s it…you won’t find us making out at a bar or anything lol….as for the ‘you may kiss the bride’ we haven’t actually talked about it- but I’ve thought about it—it’ll probably be a quick kiss- but a little longer than like a “mwah!” lol

We are not big PDA people at all, but we will give a quick kiss or hug if the moment strikes. FH is way more private than I even am, which is funny. He will dodge the lips and go for the cheek if his family is around! lol

I have thought about it, and will probably force him to practice when the wedding is closer. I think it will be a decent lip kiss, no tongue, but more than a peck. He may disagree.

It was great finally meeting some of the 2012 brides! I had a blast and can't wait for the next G2G.

As for PDA I think we are in the middle too. We don't make out and stuff but if FH wants to hug or kiss me he won't think about it twice unless we're in church. LOL!!!

We still haven't decided how we're going to kiss at the ceremony. With all the details involved with the wedding I totally forgot about this. oops

I'm not really a fan of PDA... Not that I dont show affection in public but we are definitely more private about it.

We haven't discussed this... I've def given it some thought and figure it wont be ridiculous over the top but more than a quick peck.

Yes very nice meeting some of you girls last night!!!!!

About PDA, FH and I don't usually makeout like that in front of our friends and family. We will hug and give eachother a tap on the lips but that's about it. Nothing to hot and heavy.

As for the first kiss .. I think it will be something like a long tap kiss. No tongue or anything like that involved. I don't think it's appropriate. Esp. b/c we will be married in a church.

So nice meeting some you ladies last night!

We don't take PDA over the top, but we're certainly affectionate in public. We'll share quick kisses and hugs and we always hold hands when we're walking around. He'll touch me a lot, but it's usually pretty sneaky.

We haven't discussed how we'll kiss at the wedding! Guess we'll have to go home and practice to make sure it's perfect

FH loves PDA, but me not so much. I'm a little shy when it comes to kissing in public! We haven't talked about how we're going to kiss yet, although I'm sure we will when it gets closer to the wedding!

I'm all about the PDA but FH is NOT. It's probably really funny to see in person, me trying to get smooches and him not willing to participate although he has given in more now that we are engaged

We've talked about it a few times, we want it long enough for everyone to take pictures. I hate going to a wedding and missing taking the first kiss because they pecked!

we're not really into PDA, we're hand holders and we'll sneak a kiss or hug here and there.

As for our kiss it will probably be PG-13, nothing crazy to creep people out, we would prefer people not leave before the cocktail hour begins.

I watched a wedding recap recently where the bride and groom were practically making out the whole video, it was so uncomfortable to watch.

We are big hand-holders too. A kiss here and there is normal for us too. But FH is more into PDA than I am .. so there have been times when he grabbed me and hugged/kissed me in the most random of places (like the supermarket! lol). I loved it and thought it was cute, but still got a lil embarrassed.

We will definitely need to practice our 'wedding kiss' beforehand. I'm thinking more than just a peck but nothing crazy either

FH is big on the hand holding, but we rarely make out or anything. He still tries to grope me sometimes when he thinks nobody is looking!

I think a nice open mouth, no tongue kiss should suffice

we are pretty cute together but not overboard, stealing kisses if no one is around or looking. but nothing crazy or highschool lol

as for 'the' kiss - we are gonna go by the rules of the wedding singer lol

FH wasn't into PDA so I had to teach him. Once in awhile we make out in public to spice things up. At the ceremony I am planning on some tongue, but I think we are going to have to practice

we are exactly the same way and no, we haven't discussed *the kiss* yet, but I have definitely thought about it!

FH and I are pretty PG about PDA - hand holding, rubbing back, and sporadic pecks but that's pretty much it. I think we were trained since my family is pretty conservative and I have an impressionable 12 yr old sister (who was only 8 when we first started dating).

That being said the kiss will be passionate, medium lenth, but no tongue (partially open mouth). That's how I imagine it anyway.

This questions always makes me think of The Wedding Singer!!

I get so mad sometimes bc FH hates hand holding! I joke around and hold a finger so that it's not the entire hand. He doesnt think I'm so funny.

We aren't so big on PDA in public but we do hold hands, hug and give sweet, quick kisses everywhere. And yes, we do talk and think about how our FIRST kiss as husband and wife will be...we both agreed since it will be the FIRST kiss, its going to be BIG. I practice it with him all the time. I say 'you may now kiss the bride' and we go. it will be a long, passionate, kiss filled with a big hug, tears and an everlasting smile...I CANT EFFIN WAIT!!

With PDA we tend not to do much. A kiss here a kiss there but nothing to much. I would also say it would depend where we are and who we are with. We do hold hands sometimes when out wish that was more since there is nothing wrong witht that.

As far as the Kiss on the wedding day, I want to keep it simple not to long but not to short. I am sure FH feels the same about this.
