How much do you think you are saving by having your wedding on a Thursday? I am really tempted.

Some of the quotes I heard were like $60 less than a Saturday night!

We are not saving at all per person... the hall was willing to reduce the minimum.

This! and already have 95 yes and have to guarantee 125!
**edited to add FH works in the restaurant business and this is what worked best for us. He has to take off when weddings are on the weekend and everyone is taking off the Thursday for us. You really will be surprised, the people who want to be there will be there. After having our E-Party on a Sat and my shower around everyone else, I'm so glad we did it this way because you really see who cares and people's true colors. Do what is best for you.

Re: Thursday Night Brides
Getting everything I want....dream reception hall...all the extras...without worrying or feeling guilty of price! Some girls on fri and sat r paying same or even less than me at different halls still tho lol.
But per head saving about 50 pp.....and paying cash equals no tax so saving more there!
Another motivation was to keep our anniversary date :)
I couldn't stomach the Saturday cost .....this decision felt so good after it was made! And everyone who I want to be there is coming :) I invited over 300 so I'm hoping we are well under that since it's a Thursday....will be interesting to see!
