How has the whole wedding planning experience been for you thus far?? Was it more than you bargained for?? Did you ever think there would be so much planning involved??
For me so far, i would have to say, everything has been minimal stress. FH has been involved 100% so i guess that makes things a lot less stressful in itself...booking vendors was actually fun for us & we had gotten it all done pretty quickly.. so now we have time to pay attention to the small details :)
I wouldn't say it was more than i bargained for, i always knew it would take tons of work since we wanted a big wedding and knew we would be paying for it ourselves.
My sister got married last year so i witness the whole wedding planning experience first hand and knew there would be TONS of planning ahead of us & she has been a big help to the both of us as well... she is going to be helping me with a lot of DIY projects soon (invitations, painting my aisle runner, programs, seating cards, etc.) since i did not get any of the creative genes in the family! (thanks mom!)
but yes, all in all.. the wedding planning experience has been fun and not in the least bit stressful... i'm sure as the day gets closer the bridezilla will come out of me.. but it hasn't yet!!

So far so good!! FH has been involved in everything which suprised me but made me soo happy. My father is a florist so I have been around weddings my whole life and I have 2 sisters who are already married so I knew what to expect. So far I have had minimal stress hopefully the stress level stays that way!!!!

i've had a lot of fun planning so far. no major problems to report. actually what annoys me the most are people who want updates along the way. i just find that so annoying

I knew it was going to be stressful, but I really wasn't aware on how stressful it would be. Also, I didn't think I would watch WE as much as I do now. But overall, I'm enjoying every minute of my 18 month engagement!

the only stressful part of the wedding has been the money part. Postponing it s u c k ed but even that wasn't bad and i had to re-do a lot of stuff. Other than that...i'm trying to just enjoy it

Great question...I think its pretty good so far. Really going smoothly. I've coordinated a lot of partiesbefore, but never any of significant importance to me before...to this level. So I am definitely more invested, emotionally, financially and even physically - losing sleep logging hrs on this site...LOL.
But really, FH and I seem to be on the same page with our vision and we've been lucky with the advice we've received on this site, thru friends and our vendors are great. Hoping it stays this way.
