So how did you hear about LIWeddings.com?

Do you think youll make the leap over to LIFamily.com?



I found out about it because my co-worker who got married in 2010, was ALWAYS on it and always talking about it. Like I would look over and see her on it all the time. When I got engaged, i thought since she liked it so much, why not try it out?

I do not think I will right away. I feel like its more for mothers, moms-to-be, or women trying to get pregnant so I will wait until I am trying to have a little one. As of right now, that wouldnt be for another year or 2 after the wedding.

Found out about LIWeddings by Googling Long Island Mansion wedding venues when FH and I first started designing my ring. Joined once we got engaged and now here I am!

I don't even know what LIFamilies is actually. I'm assuming for kids advice? I don't think I'll make the leap. I would rather ask my mom things about raising my kids.

I found LIWeddings while researching wedding venues! I watched the boards for a while before joining.

I won't be using LIfamilies as I'm not living on LI and not planning on returning soon.

LIWeddings kept popping up every time we researched venues and photographers, I got curious and read for a little & then signed up!

No, I won't be using LIFamilies, it just doesn't interest me, really haha

My mom's good friend showed me LIW.

As for LIF, I'm not sure if I will or not. We plan on trying for a baby really soon after the wedding, so I may, but at the same time, my best friend/MOH has 4 kids so I'm sure I can ask her anything I need to know!

I found this website while looking at RH.

I didnt even know that existed so Im going to say no as of now.

I came across LIW on google when I was searching for RHs. I didnt even know the chat existed til about a month after I was reasearching all the halls. One day I noticed the chat tab and I was like hmm let me see what this is about and here I am over 3000 posts later...

Im dont think I will be moving on to LIFamily.

As far as LIF, probably not. I'm not looking to have a child for a year or so after getting married, plus - I'm here because this is Long Island based. There are a few other chat boards I frequent. Overall though, I just don't have much time.

Stumbled across it when I was looking for venues. Didn't know it was as helpful as I saw it was when i went back to it and registered.

I think I'll take the leap but I want to hang out here as long as I can, I am going to miss it so much!!

But then again I am not really LI based, just for the wedding. haha so i dont know.

as far as LI Families... doubt it.. ive read some of the post and those girls are downright NASTY to each other. Esp the childless families board.. i mean its the internet people...
