What do you think about a Thursday evening wedding? There's a significant price difference in the place i want to book and i am seriously considering it...

we are having a Thursday night wedding in the summer. Those who are closest to you will be there no matter what. Our friends and family wanted to have the Thursday over a Sunday wedding. It worked for us bc many people are teachers or are self employed. It depends on your crowd but if it works and u save money, bonus!!!!!

Thursday is becoming more popular but be prepared for many people to leave early.

If someone doesn't want to go to a Thursday wedding they can check the 'can not attend' box. Those who want to be there will be there no matter what day of the week it is. As per the advice of a banquet manager' Don't base your wedding on what day of the week it is. You can still have your summer wedding for the springtime price. In a month no one will remember what day of the week it was'.
And for those who don't come simply because its a Thursday, they will miss out on a great party. If it fits you needs and your guests are willing to attend and would actually prefer a Thursday, go for it !!!!!!!

I am considering a Thursday due to the price also. I think that if people really care about you they will attend your wedding no matter what- at the end of the day its just 5 hours of your life, and the most important people are you and your FH! Do what you can afford and do whatever you want to do! Most people will probably take the friday off, it's not that big of a deal. Also, I agree that Thurs is better than Sun in the aspect that if people do have to work they only have to get through one more day of the work week.
Bottom line- the most important people in your life will be there!
