Thursday's QOTD

Continuing with our musical QOTD theme,
If you could have any BAND OR ARTIST play at your reception, which would would it be and why?

DMB definitely would be my answer!!!! I've loved them since late middle school, and they're still popular now!

Matchbox 20, definitely!!!!!

I'd even be fine with just Rob Thomas going solo, but I'd want him to sing a lot of mb20 too.

My life changed entirely my senior year of college when I became obsessed with them. I took on the lyrics 'I wish the real world would just stop hassling me' as my motto, and life became so much better. Then, miraculously, I won a trip to Australia to MEET THEM, brought my best friend Rob (who's one of FH's groomsmen now... oh, no relation to Thomas) and got to change his life too. He tells me that trip opened him up to so much about this world he had never been able to experience before.

I remember the day I met Rob Thomas and the band. Some of the guests at the meet and greet were all shy, but not me. I walked straight up to Rob and said to him 'I really love your music' and he was so bright, and cheerful, and thanked me.

mb20 has been there for me through some very difficult times in my life, and their music speaks to me in a way that makes me so happy, positive, bright, and alive.

FH even likes some of their songs. lol!!

Hmmmm....that is soooooo tough!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that I would pick someone who crosses generations and I know my crowd would go crazy over Bon Jovi!!!!

I would want Linkin Park But I don't think that would quite be the theme I'd be looking for! So then I'd have to go with DH's favorite, Matchbox 20 or Rob Thomas

I would love LP and Jay-Z to do their duets and then solos but the crowd wouldnt be into it as much as FH &I.

fh would just die if he had linkin park there...but i would choose greend ay..loved them 10 years ago still love them today

I'm a music junkie, so I can't pick just one

Band: I say Linkin Park, but I know DH would want Green Day. We would both probably agree on 112, because their song 'Crazy over you' is our song.

Solo Artist: The guy from Secondhand Serenade

Oh there are so many more I could choose lol.

Dave Matthews would sing me his version of the beatles song 'In my life'.... then Kris allen would serenade me and we would run away together...

ok ok fine.. my choice is DMB
