Thyroid tests..does anyone know...
I have to go for a blood test to check my thyroid among other things but my doctor didnt tell me if I have to fast or not..
Does anyone know if you are supposed to fast for a thyroid blood workup?

You don't need to do anything special to prepare for those tests, from what I remember.
There are some nurses on this site - they might be able to tell you more about it.

I know I've taken it but I'm not sure either. I'm pretty sure you don't have to fast for it.

I get the Thyroid test all them time. No fasting for that one, but you said there were other tests, I would check to see if you need to for those.

No need to fast...its a regular blood test.
