I got my tiara and veils over the weekend!!! My sister took some pics with her digital camera, but she hasn't sent them to me yet.
I love the tiara...I have it home with me now too!
I also got 2 veils...a longer one for the church and a shorter one for the reception...they are gorgeous!
I am so excited...every time I get another thing done it feels so much realer!!!

I love tiaras. I got mine too and my veil. i 'm only getting a short veil because my train is really long. keep up the good work in getting things done.

My train is on the shorter side, so the long veil will be great for church and the short one is more practical for the reception.
The back of my dress has a lot of gorgeous design on it and we wanted something that wouldn't cover that up, so we chose a sheer veil...
I am sooooo excited!

Congrats to you!! How much did you pay for the veils? I was quoted between $195 and $250. Is that average? BTW - theyre fingerlength and pretty plain.

I think so...my tiara was $185 and it was one of the less expensive ones...
The total came out to about $700 with the 2 veils and the tiara and tax, so the prices you are being quoted sound about right....Scary isn't it?
I am doing a terrible job budgeting!

That is not average. That is a bridal salon price. You can have one made far cheaper than that price. Also, there are several on-line places i.e. www.veilshop.com where they will custom make a veil with whatever edging and of whatever length you like. Most are under $100 and all are made of bridal illusion.
Julz33 ordered from veilshop.com and posted it in her review. I'm sure lots of others use them as well as glamgirl.com (I think that's the site).

FYI - lots of brides bought tiaras on ebay for uner $20. I think I even saw one bride who got one for $3!!
