Tiaras and veil prices

I just tried on dresses yesterday for the first time (it was so fun!) and I also tried on tiaras and veils too. The tiara that I like is $399 and the veil is $499!! Yikes!!! Is this normal? I'm totally clueless.

I think that's a bit STEEP! My tiara and veil are each under $200... but it's your call!

I agree! That's awfully high! I just ordered my tiara and it was just above $300, that included a two tier veil. I will be researching cathedral veils too and quite honestly, I DO NOT want to be spending $500 on a veil I will be taking right off!

Good luck - I think you can find something just as nice and much cheaper.

These were Macy's bridals prices. I think the bridal salons totally gouge you!

i got my tiara from ebay for approx $30. And its beautiful and well made.

Hmmm... Macy's in Manhasset? That's actually where I just ordered my tiara! YES these bridal salons definitely charge A LOT of money!!

No, Macy's in Virginia! They're not much cheaper here apparently!

I bought my tiara on ebay for about $90. I got my dress at bridal suite in bay shore, and paid $95 for a cathedral length veil, and they gave me the 2 tier for free.
Please look on ebay before you spend $400 for a tiara!!

My tiara and veil came out to around $300 together. I did try one ones that were alot more expensive and some that were alot cheaper, so the price really differs depending on the designer and what is made of.

I got my tiara from seller princessbrides (or something like that) and I love it. My other option was a $300 tiara at the bridal suite. I paid 90, but have seen it go for auction for 30.
