It made me decide to go elsewhere. I emailed her and she wrote back with pricing etc and I responded to set up a trial. it took her 2 weeks to respond. when she finally did i wrote back that since i didnt hear from her i booked someone else (which was the truth).

IMO i dont care how good her reviews are on here - we deserve better communication and customer service! i cant imagine how much i would freak out if i emailed her closer to my wedding date and i got the 2 week later reply - or even one week later! i want to know my vendors will communicate with me!!!!


go elsewhere...the added stress isnt worth it! if she cant respond to you now - when she doesnt hve your deposit - why would she be any better as your wedding approaches when she knows she has a signed contract?!?! dont give her til the end of the week...there are vendors out there who will do fantastic makeup AND also communicate with you!

call sandra baldini - she is AMAZING

the same thing happened to me! I emailed her after I got her email but she said she never got my email, so she gave my date to another bride! I had gotten Oksana's number from another bride but by that time she had booked my date already, I'll FM u her number in case u want it.

I ended up having a trial with Sandra Baldini, and couldn't have made a better choice, she's awesome!!!!

Oksana is totally worth the wait! You won't be disappointed. Also, I believe she just had a death in her family so give her a chance to get in touch with you. I couldn't have been happier with her on my wedding day.

You are so right!, if I gave her a deposit and couldn't get in touch with her closer to the wedding I would freak! and 'soontobemrsfox' once you booked did you at least get a phone number? because what if you have a question close to your wedding and all you have is an email? I think it's bad business, especially when dealing with anxious brides lol... Even if she is good, I had a 'Celebrity makeup artist email me back right away! of course i couldn't afford her prices lol... but the point is, as busy as she is flying around the world and doing celebrity makeup, she was able to get back to me from her blackberry asap! Anyway, thanks ladies

also, she just had a death in the family, so i'm sure her business isn't the first thing on her mind right now.

Oksana just did my wedding and she was FABULOUS. Not too sure why people have negative comments about her - but she was a pleasure to work with and made me so calm on the day of my wedding.

She did post on facebook that she had a death in the family - and I am sure she is dealing with all those details right now. Give her some time - she is worth the wait!!

Oksana did my makeup for my B-pics and I loved it it came out amazingggggggggggggg I anted her for my wedding but she was booked =(
But she is def. worth the wait I have had 3 trials for my wedding and I still havent found someone that I like

What about Jacqueline Nicole? Or, Diana Marinaccio Cappolla did my makeup for my b-pics and she did a FAB job. I'd highly recommend either one of them!

She is horrible when it comes to communicating with her clients....

I'm surprised so many people are saying they had horrible communication with her... Any time I emailed her she always followed up within a few days at the most, normally though it's within a few hours. When did you ladies reach out to her? If it was an early Saturday morning or Friday night she was probably doing a wedding

I would try really hard to be patient, because she really is worth it. Not only that, but I know personally when I reach out to a vendor and they IMMEDIATELY respond - like within a minute, it makes me a little nervous... Those are always the ones that end up stalking you ladies because they don't have any business - watch out

I agree. I think people need to be a little more patient. We're brides, we're not gods that people need to bow down to.

My trial with her is next friday! Looking forward to it!! She does take a little while to get back to me, but nothing crazy!
I think we are all just so anxious! Usually when I dont hear back from someone right away, I panic!
