does Oksana always take weeks to respond to email?

I e-mailed her regarding a gift certificate that I have for free b-pic makeup and even though I was already booked with her she still allowed me to use it. She also got back to me promptly each time I e-mailed her. I've only heard great things about her from clients as well as vendors. She is a pleasure to work with and people feel she is a good vendor for them to work with on a professional manor! I would give her a couple days and follow through with the trial! I'll post pics of my makeup come monday!

Any time I emailed her she always followed up within a few days at the most, normally though it's within a few hours. When did you ladies reach out to her? If it was an early Saturday morning or Friday night she was probably doing a wedding

I would try really hard to be patient, because she really is worth it. Not only that, but I know personally when I reach out to a vendor and they IMMEDIATELY respond - like within a minute, it makes me a little nervous... Those are always the ones that end up stalking you ladies because they don't have any business - watch out

I too am booked with Oksana. And yes her grandmother did pass away recently. I have never had any problems with communicating with Oksana. She will reply day of a couple of days at most. But in the beginning of booking with Oksana, my emails too did go to her Spam folder. I have to say though, IMO just because we may sit around on the computer all day doesn't mean everyone does. She does have trials, b-pics and other brides that she may be doing. It upsets me greatly to hear people with such negative reviews. As I understand we are impatient brides (as am I) some of you need to chill the fu&k out. 1 negative comment on any vendor can make or break them. In my booking process of seeing florists, videographers and photographers I too had awful experiences but did not put them on blast. Half the boards are booked with a photographer that just wasn't my cup of tea. Easy to give your honest opinion on a vendor (which is why we are here) but while carefully choosing your wording. Oksana not only does phenomenal work, but she is a pleasure to work with. I feel very bad for the girls who have decided not to give her another chance. But with that said, I am happy that I have her booked for my wedding. Good luck on your make up.

Not every vendor is for everyone people are allowed to give their opinion. No not every vendor is sitting by the computer but it should not take days or even weeks for a vendor to get back to a potential client.

As for vendors that contact me right away I appreciate that they can take a few minutes to answer my questions. I usually work better through email (that is just what I prefer) but if someone was taking weeks to get back to me I would not want to use them either. I did not have that experience with Oksana (it did take a few days though)

Also, not everyone is on FB (I'm not) so they might not know what is going on.

I honestly don't care how long you waited. And no one took it 'negatively' or acted as if you were bashing someones first born. When you come on these boards often enough. You will learn the boards etiquette, I wrote that in my response as well as that these boards are here for opinions, which are wanted and appreciated. However it is how you go about writing them. NO ONE took it negatively we are trying to point out the way things are written can make or break any vendor. That was all. Now if you were able to comprehend this the first time I wrote it I wouldn't have had wasted all my time re writing this to you.

i don't really understand why you're being so defensive.

you asked a question and it appears that most girls, including myself, answered honestly.

i really don't care who does your makeup and like someone said, not every vendor is for every bride.

if you're tired of waiting, don't wait. you should find a makeup artist that responds to you in the time frame you want.

Ohhhh My bad, I didnt know telling someone to chill the F out was proper board etiquette, thanks for clarifying lol.... but I think I will continue to word things however I choose! and for the rest jumping on the bandwagon with the extra comments should put that energy into your own wedding...

Yeah, I would not be able to handle unresponsiveness, there are plenty of talented ppl that get back to u right away.

She sounds like she just needs a system, a blackberry or SOMETHING.
