ticked off at an ebay seller

ticked off at an ebay seller

In Nov, I bid on and won some stuff. I didn't have a pay pal account at the time so I set one up but every time they emailed me my registration # it wouldn't work. I called them, etc. And all the while I let the seller know what was going on since she only wanted pay pal. she seemed OK about it. Finally I sent her a check (she said no problem) and she cashed it (because I have the cancelled check) and NO STUFF HAS ARRIVED YET to my knowledge. I asked her to send it to my dad's and I was there last week and nothing had arrived. She cashed the check on Dec 3rd. It's been over a month now. I can't believe this. And I've sent an e-mail and no reply. I want to leave negative feedback on ebay but I can't - for some reason when I hit the feedback on your seller's link only 2 others came up (good sellers, so I gave good reviews). But not this lady. I don't know why. I have an item # and everything.

What do you think I should do? I can look up her phone number as I still ahve her address and call her but I don't want to freak her out. Then again she's reneging on her part of the deal so I don't really care if she does get upset that I called.

Any advice?

since you have her address, I would write her a letter and show her the proof she cashed your check and ask where your stuff is

To leave the negative feedback you have to go to 'MY EBAY' then hit the tab where it says FEEDBACK then look for her there....should definitely be there. Also contact ebay. I would email her one more time and tell her if she doesn't get back to you in 24 hours you will leave very negatvie feedback. Sellers don't want negative feedback so she should answer you. Did you look at her feedback what did people say about her before?

I did, and she didn't show up, only 2 other sellers I dealt with showed up. Isn't that weird??? But I won't let her know that...I'll just threaten her with the negative feedback thing. She has over 600 positives and a few negatives and 3 of those were of some idiot giving her negative feedback in German.

I love reading the seller's replies to negative feedback - they absolutely go on the defensive and flip out. It's like hello...don't you know that you'll never please EVERYONE?
Pretty funny.

Tammy - that's a good idea I will send her a letter in the mail. Certified delivery too.

Yes that is very weird that it won't show up. I would also email ebay and let them know you want to leave negative feedback and they won't show up. Also not exactly sure what it is buy EBAY has a buyer potection plan see what that is....maybe that is when you don't get your stuff. My FIL had a problem and he emailed the person and told him he was going to the DA in his district would you know the package came a few days later!!!

It is possible that she blocked you through EBAY. Therefore you cannot see anymore of her auctions or the one that you already one. What was the item number that you won? You can fm it to me and I will do a little research into it. I can possibly get you her home phone number.

Do you have her full name, Since you mailed her a check? Also her address? You can check her out on line through google....

Scott it does say she has no items at this time.

I have her address already though.

I can easily get her number when I go to work today (ah the joys of having public records databases at my disposal at work).

i'm going to fm you her screen name and maybe you can see if she is really blocking me or if she is really not selling anything else.

woudln't that be a scream if she cashed my check and was BLOCKING ME. what balls.

Re: ticked off at an ebay seller

did you file a complaint with ebay?

Re: ticked off at an ebay seller

Isn't there a certain time limit that you can leave feedback? Maybe it is past the amount of days so now youcan't leave feedback. Or if you have your original item listing url, usually there is a link on the page that says leave feedback. Definitely notify e bay if she is not responding to your e mails.

This happened to me and I payed through paypal. I ordered a wedding wrap. They never sent it to me I complained about it too late and never got my money back

Re: ticked off at an ebay seller

i am going to complain i just want to wait one more day.

i think the reason i cannot send feedback is because i think she left ebay!

her ebay name is elvisrocks36 and it says not a registered user and there's nothing that she is selling anymore.

either she's a scam artist (which i doubt - look at her 600+ positive feedback) or something happened to her (like she got sick?? worse??)

I'm going to call her tomorrow. If I don't get her on the phone then I'll complain to e-bay.

Re: ticked off at an ebay seller

Here is the definition from ebay:

A registered user's status may change if they ask to cancel their membership or if they're suspended from trading on eBay. If this occurs, there will be no changes to your feedback rating or to the comments left by that user when they were registered.

Maybe there have been too many recent problems.

She is just not currently selling anything at this time.

She is not a registered user. File a complaint with ebay and call her!

I got her number, I called and I get static!
I had the operator call and she got static!

Weird huh?

I contacted ebay about it.

Good for filing! Will they be able to help get your money back?

Maybe she uses a fax line as her number too????

Re: ticked off at an ebay seller

Maribelle I think that is true after 30days you can't leave feedback. Write her a letter, register it and tell her you are contacting the DA's Office in here area. Then you have proof you tried. I bet she got outed because she had to many complaints.
