Timber Point

yesterday I met with my coordinator at the hall to do our menus (which I am very excited about!!!) and to my surprise, they have totally redone the inside!!! The stairway is more open and gorgious when you first walk it.

They took out the carpeting and the ENTIRE floor in the main room is wood. We can have the dancefloor WHEREVER we want!!!!! :) It looks so much nicer. It also looks so much more open. I am soooe excited about this. Took me completely by surprise. Apparently they only did this a few weeks ago and they are still getting used to it, but i can't believe the change that this makes in how it feels in the room!

Re: Timber Point

I posted about this a couple weeks ago and about how I was kind of anxious about such a big change. It is reassuring to see that you have such a positive reaction to it! I am going to see it for the first time at the showcase this weekend :)

Re: Timber Point

I am so excited for the hard wood!! My only question is though, even if you put the dance floor in the middle, what goes in that back area with the fireplace? Does it make placement of tables and dj and what not awkward?? Did they take the carpet out of the cocktail area?

What did you pick for your menu?

Yay!!

for the dinner we went with the duck, fillet minion (spelling), and mahi mahi. plus the vegetarian. the rest, i would have to check.

Jason told me that they are still playing with table arrangements, I would assume that tables that used to be in the center of the room can now be moved back by the fireplace. Haven't completely gone over this part yet.
