Hi ladies! I am interested in Timber Point, but I can't go there to see it until Dec. 22nd because I live far away (Arkansas...just moved in July).

What made you choose Timber Point?

Any other info about local places would be incredibly helpful, too, as I can't go anywhere or see anything until December.

We just pulled in to the parking lot when day when we were out looking at RH's. I didn't really know anything about it. When we pulled in there were deer grazing on the greens, and you could see the sun starting to go down far out over the water. I was sold. I also love that they do only one wedding at a time. I am having a smaller wedding 75-80 guests, and they were one of the only places that you could use the big room. Many places stick small weddings in a tiny room. Timber is only one big reception room and a smaller room for cocktail hour. It feels like someone's home rather than a RH. There are two fireplaces (working). Also the manager we spoke to Neil was super nice. They have a non sit down non buffet type menu with stations. Each station has a complete meal. FH was sold when they told him on of the stations could be barbecue and spice lol. Also they include the wedding cake. The include linens. Hmmm.. Can't think of anything else right now FM me if you have any other questions.

I know the Lessings well, great people. I am not a Lessings bride, because I fell in love with Lands End. But they did my e-party at my house and it was incredible. They will do a great job.
