Timber Point Golf & Country Club

I am having my reception at Timber Point in Great River. I love the location (and the view of the bay), but I'm a little concerned about the food quality. I went to a tasting 2 weeks ago and some of the appetizers tasted rather bland. Is anyone else having a reception there (my wedding is June 12, 2004), or has anyone else had a reception there? Any problems with service? It seems great, but I guess I'm looking for reassurance. Thanks.

I am having the ceremony and reception at TP. I am praying for a warm sunny day so we can have the ceremony outside on the patio.

Can you tell me more about the florist you are using? I have never heard of them. I don't think I am using TP's house vendor.

Yippeeeeee!

I am getting married at Timberpoint CC in Sept.

They are really great and easy to work with.

I am using Verbena Designs for flowers. I also went to M&F and she was nice but I wanted to upgrade my flowers and was not happy with the price. Jennifer from Verbena came in under my budget and with the credit from Timberpoint for not using their flowers I am really happy.

Awesome there are a bunch of us getting married there.

Hi! I am getting married at the Timber Point in September. I'm currently looking for a florist. Can you girls FM me about using M&H? Do you recommend any other florists? James Cress? Etc?

I am using the house vendor for my flowers - M&F Florist. I know most girls didn't go with them, but I found Barbara a fantastic help. She even made a sample of my MOH BoK for the Timber Point showcase last month and it was gorgeous.

I used them as well - I worked with Maggie, she was fabulous.

Our wedding was at Timber Point before the renovations(it looks so beautiful now, that I'm almost jealous that I didn't wait, but the old decor was perfect for my day anyway). We used M&F, but I did not use their CP's, I wasn't overly impressed w/ them, so I made my own. However, I loved my BP flowers & w/ the credit I got from M&F for not doing my CP's they made me 4 arrangements that I used on the patio during my ceremony & then moved them inside to add to the interior decoration. M&F did a fantastic job! We didn't like working with Barbara, so Maggie helped us. She was amazing! She gave us so many wonderful ideas to work within our budget. I was unhappy with the free CP choices, but she came up with a beautiful idea for ours and I loved them. We did 6 roses in a round bowl...1/2 tables had pink, other half had white. I thought they looked 'empty' so she added a purple looking beby's breath (I forgot what they were called) and they were much fuller! Everyone raved about our flowers...the BoKs were stunning!
