Any opinions? My fiance and I won't be able to get there for a tour until this weekend. It looks beautiful on the website, and the price I was quoted was reasonable, although the number of guests they want us to guarantee is at our high end. Is the food good? What's the staff like?

Have you checkd the George Washinton Manor? I looked there but i will have too many people. It's not catering hally at all and the food is great. It's in Nassau county so it would be convenient for your guests. The banquet manager Janine, was really helpful and very nice. The website is www.georgewashingtonmanor.com The are a little more expensive than timber point i think, but less than the old field club, they have a million options too.
