We booked at Timber Point country club for this November. So far we've had nothing but top class service from them except regarding the food tasting. We were told we couldn't taste any of the cocktail hour food (Isn't that the whole point of the tasting???) and that the two of us and our four parents would be able to split 3 dinners (so basically 2 bites of each meal per person). We are really annoyed about this. Considering how much we're paying, shouldn't we get to taste some of the cocktail hour food so we can make our decisions? Has anyone had a similar problem? Or has anyone actually had a 'real' tasting at Timber Point? Please help us out!

Re: Timber Point tasting
Wow! That does stink! I'm booked somewhere else, but my brother got married at Timber Point this past September. The food was really good. He went for a tasting, but I'm not sure what they were served. He's pretty picky though... I'll ask him and get back to you.

Re: Timber Point tasting
We went to a bridal show there and tasted the cocktail hour food. It was amazing. They've had a couple that I know of so be on the lookout.

Re: Timber Point tasting
I got married at TP also. Ben told us there was NO tasting! I was very upset! I'd be happy he's allowing you to taste at all! I do have to say that the food was delicious! Good luck!

Re: Timber Point tasting
they will host an open house so to speak where there is a bunch of food to taste. We had a bunch of food that was at the cocktail hour....you'll get a phone call inviting you to it.
