I've used timeshare in Hawaii. We're using it at the end of our honeymoon as well.

Re: Time Shares -Honeymoon question
I TRIED to use an RCI timeshare in Moorea (French Polynesia) and it was AWFUL (you can read my review here: Scroll toward bottom for honeymoon review It makes people laugh ) but NORMALLY RCI timeshares are REALLY nice - THIS one was just really bad!

THanks girls. Her time share is with RCI too. I just dont know anything about them. I prefer something all inclusive. FH and I want to save $$$ anyway we can as long as we still enjoy ourselves. Where did/is everyone going with their TS?
In you opinion would you say a cruise or using a TS in the Caribbean is better? Im so running out of time. Thanks ladies!

Re: Time Shares -Honeymoon question
We used our timeshare for a week of our honeymoon in Hawaii. The place we stayed at was beautiful! It was through RCI and II. It is owned by Sunterra.
I tried to get the pics for you but, I can't remember DH's password. I'll try to post later.
We also have stayed at a RCI timeshare in Los Cabos, the Royal Solaris. It was an all inclusive resort so we had to pay extra for the all inclusive fee. We liked it a lot.
We sent his parents to an all-inclusive in Puerto Vallarta, The Velez, and they loved it too. You also have to pay an additional fee there since it's all inclusive, but it was really nice.

Re: Time Shares -Honeymoon question
We used two timeshares for our honeymoon. They were through interval. We were extremely pleased with both hotels (puerto rico 1st week, aruba 2nd week).
