its time to give her feedback on my proof and of course i would lovee your help. ok i love the ivory pocketfold. the ribbon she used is pretty much identical to the girls dresses (eggplant). i dont know how i feel about the layers. i dont know if it is the cream layer(middle) that is bothering me. maybe she can make it match the ivory pocketfold? or if it is that the purple layers dont match the ribbon too well. i will be asking her to change the printable layer to smooth so u dont see the texture. also, do u think i should just forget using purple ?

i think i t looks amazing as is!!!!!!! i can see what you mean about the purple but it looks great.... but if its really bugging you maybe she can send you a few swatched of purple ribbon and you can decide?

They're beautiful. The only thing I would change is the cream layer - I think it would look even nicer if it matched the ivory.
I personally like the textured look so I wouldn't change that, but if it's bothering you then definitely make that a change too!
I love the purple; I don't know why you wouldn't want to keep that - it looks great!

I love them! Maybe you could ask her to use a brighter purple backing and not use the purple border on the card itself? That might take care of the not matching problem and then you wouldn't need the ivory card at all...

I think they're beautiful! I love the purple and wouldn't change that. However, I agree about the smooth paper over the layered for this invite. I feel like with the monogram and the design of the invite with the ribbon, rhinestones, etc. the textured look is a little too much....jmo! I also agree about that cream layer. I would ask her to send you swatches and you could pick which would match better.

It's hard cuz I know one of her purple papers was discontinued so that layered purple is really dark. It's even darker next to the purple ribbon.
I agree with making the printable paper smooth. Maybe you can use another shade of purple as the inner 'printable' layer.

I agree. I love the purple ribbon, esp if you said it matches your BM dresses...
I DIY a lot and purple is definitely one of the more difficult papers to find in different shades, but INK shouldn't be so hard, so she should be able to print a brighter purple and match it to the ribbon....
Maybe with the right purples and the smooth printable, the cream would look really nice and make it pop a little more... Layers really add to a nice look. Can she give you more than one new proof? one with the cream layer and one with a more matchy one??
