timeline for day of...

We are getting married at 5 pm. The photographer is coming at 12:30 to take pics of me and FH and our bridal party.

At around 2:30, we go to the RH and are having family pics (ceremony is at RH).

Do you think 12:30 is too early? Will we all be exhausted by the time the ceremony rolls around?

What are you girls doing if you have a similar ceremony time?

TIA!!!

Tentative:

4:00pm arrive at place. Photog comes

4-8 Me get dresses, pictures, first look, rehersal, sign ketubah, etc

We have the photog AT THE PLACE ONLY for 8 hours.

It al depends on how many hours you have the photog for, and how long the reception is.

if the reception is till midnight, then yes, you have 12 hours with the photog....and HE might be exausted.

And from 12:30-2:30..is that you getting ready? Pix at your house?

I think it all depends on how many hours you have the photog for and what kind of pix you want. If you want getting ready pix, then he HAS to be at the house at 12:30 yes?

We want to take all of our pics before... as we want to enjoy our cocktail hour.

We also want a little bit of getting ready which will be at the hotel where the bridal party/FH and me pics will be!!!

is 12:30 too early? Makeup/hair artist will arive around 10 to get me and a couple of other girls ready. What do you ladies think-- are we going to be completly wiped out by the time 5pm comes?

4 hours is a lot of time to allocate for pictures.
I'm reading this as 2 hours at home, about 2 hours at the RH.
An hour at home should be fine, then you still have an hour to 1.5 hours at the RH for more pictures. (you need to allocate time to freshen up and to relax a bit before your ceremony begins).
I got married at the RH at 12:00 and the photog got there about 10:30 to start pics before the ceremony. We did that for about an hour, I got freshened up, drank a cup of coffee. Then I got married.

We are starting photog at 4:45 and hospitality starts at 6:30 at which point I guess OTHER people in the bp can still take pics-

Some people suggested that this is not enough time but I think it's fine b/c I don't wanna get pooped.

I think to myself, how could an hour and a half straight NOT be enough for pics with the bride? I mean, don't they just keep snapping the camera over and over? haha I just don't wanna deal with it for longer...

I have 5:00 invite (5:30 ) ceremony and this is my tentative plan. .

have family BP meet at RH at 3:00 for pics
Photographer will prob meet at hotel for getting ready pics at 1:30 or 2:00

also honestly I would just ask your photographer b/c he/she will prob have a really good idea of how long things take and how long they are willing to be there. . .
