Lately, the strangest thoughts have been crossing my mind. Last night, it was the timeline for the day of the wedding. I know I want to get my hair and makeup done professionally. I am getting married in August. I was curious as to what time to shower and have the other appointments since my ceremony isn't until 7 PM. I would assume it would be best to shower or take a bath in the morning. I'm worried about it being August and getting to hot and sweating during makeup and hair. What did you August evening girls do? TIA. I know it's a random thought.

I am not an Aug bride but i am an evening bride. I am going to shower in the morning then go and get my hair done then back to the hotel for make up. I know i wont sweat like you might in Aug but i plan to freshen up right before i put my dress on. After my hair and make up done I will take alittle private time and freshen up .
When I did my time line I made sure i had enough time inbetween to do that. Also make sure you have the AC on or a fan blowing on you to cool you down

My initial thoughts are as follows...
wake up, work out, breakfast, shower - done with all this by 10:30. Then have hair and make-up at the hotel by 11. Then I want to freshen up a little bit and get dressed around 1:30/2:00 - take some pics. Limo leaves hotel at 3:00, arrive at RH by 3:20 and take pics with just the girls on the grounds...then wait in bridal suite until ceremony while FH arrives and does his pics (we aren't seeing each other prior to ceremony). Ceremony starts at 6.

Are you allowed to gt there that early? I saw a few brides complaining that they were going to get charged extra to show up at their RH early but some let you come as early as you want. Just trying to make sure you have all your bases covered.

I'm not sure exactly what I'm doing, but I do know that the photog and video are coming to the hotel at 1:30 for getting ready shots, heading to rh at 3 for daylight pics and reveal, ceremony at 7
I guess I need hair and makeup to start around 12??

my ceremony is at 6 pm
I am getting hair/makeup at 10am
pics at 130 pm
then get to hall at around 4/430 more pics
i will freshen up between pics and ceremony
im showering the morning of around 8 am
I am def worried about sweating since its labor day weekend, I will have deodorant on hand at all times as well as a towel and blotting paper if need be! my hair/head always sweats first!

my ceremony was at 7:00pm
my schedule didn't go according to plan, but here's what we had intended to follow:
arrived at RH: noon hair: 2pm m/u: 3pm 'reveal' and pics of bride and groom: 4 - 5pm bridal party and family pics: 5 - 6pm rehearsal: 6 - 6:30pm ketubah: 6:30 - 7pm

Not an August bride, but getting married at RH at 7pm. I have no idea what the exact plan is, but was thinking of the following:
Shower whenever I get up (8-9am?) Makeup: 11-12, or 12-1 Hair: 12-2, or 2-3 Leave to go take pics: Around 3 Back to RH by 6:00-6:30
