Timeline help for pictures & video??
I really need help figuring out my timeline for pictures and video (and maybe what time I need to start makeup & hair) because I need to write into my contracts what time I need them to arrive. I'm hoping you can help me out. Here's the info (let me know if you need more):1) FH and I are taking pictures before the ceremony with the bridal party & family.
2) Our ceremony & reception are at the place where we're taking pictures. The invite time is 6:30 and it's actually starting at 7 (I'm guessing most people would start arriving at 6:15?)
3) I'd like some 'getting ready' pictures and video, which would be taken at the hotel (about 15 minutes away) and continue at GIHC. I have 3 girls in my bridal party getting makeup done--do I go first or last?
4) I'm waiting to put on my dress until I get to Glen Island
Any help/advice would be REALLY appreciated. Thanks!!
ETA: If you think I should put on my dress before leaving the hotel OR if you think I should do all the getting ready (hair, makeup, and dress) at Glen Island, let me know that too.

Re: Timeline help for pictures & video??
We are startign to get our hair and makeup done at noon at a salon. We are arriving at Carlyle at 3:30PM that's the earliest they will allow us there. Invite time is also 6:30 with a ceremony time of 7PMI'm not having the photographer while I'm getting hair done but they will get to Carlyle at the same time I do and I'll be getting dresses there as well.
Hope that helps.

Re: Timeline help for pictures & video??
Thanks!! I just don't know if I'd be missing out by not having pictures of the makeup since a lot of photographers/videographers seem to emphasize that you're telling a story with the pictures/video. I don't necessarily want pics of me with no makeup on but I'm wondering if it seems like something is missing without them? I don't know. This whole process is SOOO confusing!!

Re: Timeline help for pictures & video??
This is what I would:11:00 am Girl One, Makeup done
11:30 am Bride getting hair done
11:30 am Girl Two makeup
12:00 Girl Three makeup
1:00pm Bride getting makup
1:20 Photographer arrives
1:30 - 2:00 Photographer takes pictures at the hotel. Take pictures of you putting makup on with the dress.
2:00 - 2:30- the guys arrive. Pictures of them picking you up. - I like that Idea for me, it'll be romantic, how they come for you, but you can also meet at the reception.
2:45 - All arrive at the hotel
3:00 - 4:00 pics of Bride and groom
4:00 - 5:00 pics with bridal party
5:00 - 6:00 pics with family
6:00 - 7:00 relax, eat something right before the ceremony.
... Thats similar to what I am doing.
