I used the time lines that i got from the knot. But honestly I did somethings way in advance and don't plan to get things exactly on the time that the timeline says.

i owuld worry about officiant first since no wedding w/o one and invites last- not sure i would want them hanging around too long. all else start within year of wedding if not sooner in case your date or vendor is possible but there is no right or wrong

Invitations you should do at LEAST 3 months in advance and that is the latest and if you are only sending one set...rsvp one month prior-sent out latest 2 months prior
Wedding Dress-Depending on the designer this could take anywhere between a few weeks to a year...i would at the latest order 9 month prior
BM Dresses-By 6 months prior latest-they dont usually take that long to come in but again that is the designer
Officiant-if you arent getting married in a church I would definitely recommend doing this and being booked by 12 months prior to the date
Photographer/Video-10-12 months before depending on who you are booking-some photographers book quicker then others. You dont want to lose out on the one you want
