Times are definitely tough....

I guess I just need to vent!!
I am in the Marines right now, and I have been sent to another base in California. I was supposed to only be here for a month. Well I got a phone call today from my boss saying I have to stay here all through the month of April too because they don't have a replacement for me.
Oh and don't let me forget to mention that I am totally non funded, which means I am paying for my own gas, all my own food, I have to live in a stupid barracks room, and I have to drive 2 1/2 hours to my other base to go to school on Thursday. Have you seen the prices of gas lately??? Oh and I have to pay for my wedding in the mist of all this.

Just remember, things cannot get worse....you will be out of the Marines soon enough, and married and livign life with your guy!

but i do envy you in a way, meaning you get to do something different now and then and not sit at a desk allll day.

Well, I have to tell yout hat the Marines are not high on my list tight now...they just shipped my brother off to Korea and his return flight is April 2nd......with my wedding on the 3rd. so god forbid something happens and his flight is delayed...he'll miss my wedding!
he's already going to miss the rehearsal dinner because of this!
was his 9 months in IRaq not enough????!!!

Sorry to hear about your brother. I hope he makes it back in time for your wedding. I feel your pain on the 9 months in Iraq. I was there also

Sorry sweetie. I have a love for marines...my husband is one. Chin up sweetie things will get better and remember never boo hoo that things can not get worst b/c then they actually do.
