Timing Question - Is March too late to order

BM dresses for a 10/01/05 wedding??

That should be plenty of time.

Although I don't recommend it, I ordered my dresses 3 months before the wedding.

That should be fine. The bridal salons recommend ordering 4 to 5 months before the wedding. My BM's just ordered theirs so it was like 6 months before the wedding.

No, I don't think so. My bridesmaids have a deadline of March 1 to get measured and place their orders so that the dresses will be in with enough time for alterations. My wedding is three weeks after yours. It depends on the dress, but for most dresses I was told it would take 4 or 5 months.

Thanks! My MOB is flying into NY for a weekend in March to look at and order the BM dresses. Originally I thought that would be enough time, but then I started having a minor panic attack about it earlier today.

That should be fine..

I went with my girls- middle of Sept to look, then went back with individual ones in Oct- placed the order Nov 1- and I got a call right before Christmas that they already in! Like 4 weeks early!
