This probably won't be my biggest dilema, but here goes. At my church we have an option of a 4pm or 5pm ceremony. we're just doing the ceremony no church service. My cocktail hour doesn't start till 8pm. we're leaning toward the later ceremony for the sake of the guests, but we're not sure what to do with them in between the ceremony and the cocktail hour. Another thing that's bothering me is not having anytime to decorate the church before my ceremony which is why i want the 4pm ceremony. I only want some pew bos and a few arrangements. But i might be pressed for time if there's a ceremony right before mine. I heard somewhere that i might be able to share the decorations and their cost with the other bride. has anyone ever heard of this? I need any and all suggestions. Thanks

Re: Timing question with ceremony & reception...Help!
as far as the decorations...You have a couple of options...You could have a friend or family decorate the church earlier in the day and just leave the decorations for the wedding before...I'm sure that bride won't mind.
Also as far as the time difference..I don't know if your parents live close but you could have a little 'get together' at the house for the in between time. That is what I am doing.Guest will just have to understand.
