Timing Questions

Since I am knew to this who getting married thing, I have a couple of logistical questions...

1. How long before the ceremony should I get my hair and makeup done? I do not have a bridal party so I do not have to factor them into the timing.

2. I would rather take our pictures in between the ceremony and reception (kind of old fasion that way). How long should I leave for pictures?

don't worry about the time for makeup & hair...once u have the time that the photographer is coming, your hair stylist & makeup artist should tell you. and timing between the ceremony & reception totally depends on distance....how far is the church from the RH, and how far is the location ur going to to take the photos..also how long is ur ceremony - are u doing a full mass??? .our ceremony was at 5:00 and our reception wasn't untill 8:30...our ceremony was about 45minutes, and then there was a 45minute drive between the two....and believe it or not it flew by!!! it was also good because a lot of people came to our church straight from work(it was on a friday), so they were able to go home & change in between...otherwise i think our church would not have been as packed! As for how much time for photo taking - ur photographer should give u an idea.... good luck!
