TIp for picking MOH
had a good laught at a link thru another post, heres the story
' I was a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding. My friend is an identical twin and her sister was supposed to be Maid of Honor. A couple of months before the wedding, my friend and her sister had a major falling out. It was horrible because I was very good friends with both sisters. My friend pleaded with me to replace her sister as the Maid of Honor. I hated to take sides butI agreed even though I didn't feel comfortable. At the rehearsal dinner, the bride's sister gave me dirty looks and made snide comments about the 'New Maid of Honor.' I feared for the wedding because I knew that she had a fiery temper, especially after a few drinks. The wedding day arrived and the ceremony was beautiful. The reception went fine...until I noticed that the bride's sister was VERY INTOXICATED. I started to worry and it tursn out that I had good reason. While out on the dance floor, I was hit in the head with a high-heel and was tackled by a disgruntled ex-Maid of Honor! What a scene! She had to be escorted out by other family members. I was mortified and I felt even ten times worse for the bride who was devastated. The two sisters never truly forgave one another, and I still haven't spoken to the bride's sister since that day. Now I'm getting married and believe me, my sister is my Maid of Honor...no matter what! A word of advice...never take the Maid of Honor title away from a lunatic!!!
