Are you supposed to tip for a hair and makeup trial? What if the person doing your hair/makeup is the owner of the salon?
If yes, how much are you supposed to tip?

I think if they're the owner than you don't have to tip...if you're planning on booking with them after the trial and its not the owner then i would give them something... I didn't tip after my trial beause i didn't like what they did at all, and i knew i wasn't going to book with them!

I used my usual stylist, so I tipped her. I tipped her $20, which was double my normal tip.
