Tip of the day......

I think a fun thread for people would be tip of the day.

Post a tip/advice that might help people with all the planning and stresses.

Tip - Do your research before seeing any vendor with specific questions to ask. Write all these questions in a book and then you can compare all the vendors equally .

tip (for the newbies): dont freak out if you have realized that almost all of the girls on here have everything finished already, even if their wedding is after yours. it just so happens that we may actually be a little crazy.

Tip of the day: Photography

When booking a photographer that you like

Ask the following questions:

What packages are offered?
How many photos are included in each package?
Are the “proofs” yours to keep?
Is there a set number of reprints you must order?
What is the cost for additional time or photos?
How much is the deposit and when is it due?
When is the balance due?
Is there a travel charge?
Are the negatives available to purchase?
If so, do you have to wait a specified time before you can purchase them?

Most importantly, view his or her photographs. See if you like the style of photography and you seem to interact well with the possible photographer. Book as early as possible, some popular dates go quickly.

That's funny you say that, cause I do get nervous over that. I only booked my church and DJ and ordered BM dresses and soon going to order mine (I have a deposit on mine). I feel so behind -

Although most of us go by the reviews and comments we read on LIW when choosing vendors (and other things), DO CHECK IT OUT FOR YOURSELF. Not everyone is the same or has the same tastes or is looking for the same things. What's junk to one person can be a treasure to someone else.
