TIP: On remembering your wedding

I'm sure that you won't really need help remembering the absolute best day of your life, but in case you need one extra tidbit, read on.

My tip: Buy a new perfume.
I bought a new scent to wear ON my wedding day, and now everytime I spray it on (especially after I hadn't worn it in a while), the smell makes me reminisce on our special day.

It's such a cute way to flashback for me... and I absolutely love the natural & not-in-your-faceness of it.

I agree. On purpose I have stopped using my fav scent for now and will not use it until my wedding day.

I didnt want to take any chances with a new scent that FH may not like.

Great tip! I think I read it somewhere, and after reading it, I went out and bought this amazing French Perfume, that I normally wouldn't have bought, and I don't regret it one bit! I splurgged BIGTIME!

Thats a good idea - there has been a lot of research, and it is very well established that our sense of smell is strongly connected to memories - that a particular scent can trigger a memory, so it makes perfect sense that a particualr perfume would tigger the memories from your wedding!!

I chose Vera Wang perfume. I had always loved the scent, but never purchased it, until the day before the wedding.

I absolutely LOVE the fact that the smell reminds me of such a happy occassion.

That's an awesome idea!!! SMELL is one of the GREATEST senses that will take you back to a specific memory! Hence...smelling mom's cooking, grandma's perfume, etc
