Re: tipping ?
I have the same question I know we have to tip our BM, our bridal attendant, the bartenders we are doing...
What about vendors?

Re: tipping ?
I am not going to tip the bar tenders. Seriously I know everyone else will be and we are spending enough $$ just on tipping people alone. Ive never gone to a wedding and not tipped the bar tender. The BM and the maiter D we are tipping though.

I was under the impression that you don't tip the banquet manager because they're making a hefty commision off of the wedding already. We will be tipping the maitre'd though.

That's what we were told. And $3 per person for the maire'd. We are not following that rule but we are tipping him. We are having 300 people so we will see how the day goes before tipping him. Him, the bridal assistant, and the bathroom attendant are the only people we are tipping.

Re: tipping ?
what about the waiters? We are having one per table..feels rude not to tip them, especially because we are tipping the bartender ( lots of cheap people in my family, that I dont trust to do it when they order....and a lot of the drinks will be brought to the table by our waiters instead....??)

Re: tipping ?
Your waiters should be tipped out of the gratuity in your contract. If you choose to tip them on top of that, than I suggest you do it at the begining of the night (I forget who suggested it, but it's a good idea.)

Re: tipping ?
we are tipping the maitre d its a flat rate of $450 if we want to do extra we can... i guess that will depend on service. as far as everyone else i am not really sure but i used to work as a waitress at a wedding hall. none of the brides and grooms tipped us we made like 15-20 an hour sometimes the guests tipped us though
