$$ Tipping

I know it has been posted, but I still can't BELIEVE what some people are tipping.

*I understand that $2-4 per person for the maitre d' (I can deal).
*DJ, $50-75 a man (again, I am ok).
*Limo driver is supposedly getting $200 with the 20%, THAT IS IT FOR ME!
*Florist, don't think so. (They are charging 250 for setup)
*Video $50, is fair
*Photo, $50 for each man, even though one is the owner
*Bridal attendant $100 seems fair too

Am I forgetting anyone? Am I being too cheap or unfair. I just think it isn't right that tipping is so crucial. The reality is, the event is nearly finished when the tipping occurs.

Thoughts?

I think you're fine with all your tips except the Limo Driver. the 20% really doesn't go to the driver. I would spot him at least $25-30 if you can't afford to tip him $50.JMO

I have hair and make-up people on my tipping list as well.

that is pretty much what i gave out... we also tipped our officiant

so if someone is the owner, you dont tip them extra? this is what i am confused about. i have two different vendors that are both owners of the business. each of these vendors are bringing assistants. do i tip the assistants and the owner? i cant see tipping the owners as i am already giving them money for their services.

do you tip the owners???
